I’m really hoping for a bright future for Hooker and Hyatt. It’ll make me feel like Tennessee really is back. I’m going to be pushing to get one or both of them in my fantasy leagues.
I think for sports with really long seasons (NHL, NBA, MLB) it’s really hard to care about individual games. Basically the entire season doesn’t matter until you get to the playoffs. With the NFL or other sports with shorter seasons each game feels like it matters. It feels like there’s more stakes with each game. I don’t know what they can do to make the regular season feel important, but maybe if they do a better job of explaining the stakes with each game or storylines going into each game I’ll care more. Give me WWE style promos before each game. If nothing else let me hear some trash talk.
